The 24-year-old is expected to join his new team-mates for training today and will go straight into Danny Wilson's squad for Saturday's trip to Huddersfield.
"Mark will add some power to our midfield," the Robins' manager said. "The loan gives us a chance to look at him and he will have the opportunity to see if he can settle at our club."
