Your support makes all the difference.Midlands rivals Birmingham City and Coventry City both had transfer embargos imposed on them yesterday after they failed to submit their club accounts on time. The Championship clubs missed the 1 March deadline and consequently are now banned from any activity in the transfer marker until further notice.
Meanwhile, Port Vale – another club currently under a transfer embargo – denied that the club had been put into administration. A statement on their website said media reports yesterday were "incorrect".
"The club will issue a statement via the official website when clarification of the current situation is received," the statement read. "Port Vale would like to thank all supporters and staff for their patience at this difficult time."
