Scotland midfielder Dorrans crashed home from the 12-yard mark after Angel Rangel's debatable foul on Giles Barnes 11 minutes from the end, to liven up what had been a dour affair, before Miller finished things off. The Swansea manager, Paulo Sousa, said: "I felt the referee was going to give a yellow card to the player because he dived."
Daniel Bogdanovic scored twice to deal a fresh blow to Forest as they suffered a sixth straight Championship away defeat, going down 2-1 at Barnsley. Malta international Bogdanovic headed Barnsley into an early lead and fired his 14th goal of the season from the penalty spot midway through the second period. Forest substitute Dexter Blackstock pulled one back from close range with 12 minutes left. The Barnsley manager, Mark Robins, said: "We really deserved it and should have gone on and scored another goal, or maybe two."
Neil Warnock's unbeaten start as QPR manager came to an end as a late Gylfi Sigurdsson penalty gave Reading a 1-0 home victory.
Leroy Lita rescued a point for Middlesbrough with a last-minute equaliser in a 2-2 draw against Derby County at Pride Park.
