Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere believes that success in next month's League Cup final could be a stepping stone to bigger things.

"Any trophy is a trophy," the 19-year-old said following Tuesday's semi-final victory over Ipswich. "It will give us confidence for the rest of the season. There is a hunger among the players to win something – it has been so long that we have almost forgotten what it is like."
