The game, which will be broadcasted live on BBC One, is to be played on the same night as two Champions League quarter-finals, Atletico Madrid vs Barcelona and Benfica vs Bayern Munich.
Guidelines set out by governing body Uefa advise against domestic football being played on nights of Champions League action.
However, for the second time this season, an FA Cup game will clash with European football’s elite competition.
Earlier this month, Arsenal’s fifth round replay win at Hull City took place on the same night as Real Madrid beat Roma and Wolfsburg overcame KAA Gent in the Champions League round of 16.
The sixth round replay will be West Ham’s last FA Cup game at Upton Park, with the club moving on to the Olympic Stadium in Stratford for the start of the 2016/17 season.
The Hammers’ final game at Upton Park, their home for the last 112 years, will be a league encounter against Manchester United on 10 May, as both clubs vie for a top-four finish.
