From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. It’s a big game for…

Troy Deeney: Watford’s top scorer last campaign - who was vital in their promotion to the Premier League - will see this game as a big opportunity to get into double figures for the season. His strike partner, Odion Ighalo, has already netted fifteen times this term and playing at home to the Championship side Leeds will give him the chance to end a run of three goals in ten matches.

Best stat…

0: Watford and Leeds have never previously met in the FA Cup, but have mustered up seven wins each, drawing six times in all of their previous meetings.

Remember when…

A Fernando Forestieri brace helps Watford on their way to a 4-1 win, when the Hornets last met Leeds at Vicarage Road in the Championship last season.

Player to watch…

Odion Ighalo: The Nigeria international has the same amount of goals so far this season as he did at the same stage last campaign, but, the striker has took a big leap into the Premier League. And having only ever made three appearances in the FA Cup, the former Udinese man will be looking to put an end to a quiet start to 2016 against lower league opposition.

Past three-meetings…

Leeds 2 (Sharp, Austin) Watford 3 (Deeney, Vydra 2), Championship, February 2015

Watford 4 (Forestieri 2, Deeney, Tozser) Leeds 1 (Tamas OG), Championship, August 2014

Watford 3 (Abdi, Anya, Deeney) Leeds 0, Championship, April 2014
