Tottenham beat rivals Chelsea 1-0 at Wembley to take a narrow lead into the second leg of their Carabao Cup semi-final.

Harry Kane converted from the spot on 26 minutes after being brought down in the box by Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga.

The visitors pushed for an equaliser throughout the remainder of the match, with N’Golo Kante and Callum Hudson-Odoi hitting the post and bar respectively.

But Maurizio Sarri’s were ultimately unable to find the back of the net, thus succumbing to yet another defeat at Wembley.
