Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea were the top teams to progress to the fourth round from yesterday evening's clashes.
Both Liverpool and Arsenal strolled to victory, beating Derby and Nottingham Forest respectively, but Chelsea made hard work of their game as they fought back from two down to win 4-2 against fellow Premier League opponents Leicester.

Stoke City vs Hull:
Mark Hughes isn't pulling any punches tonight. Currently sat bottom of the Premier League with just the one point, Stoke have endured a dreadful start to the season. Hopefully they can remedy some of their woes with an impressive cup run as they line up against Hull. Big-guns Wilfried Bony and Marko Arnautović both start.
GOAL! Tottenham 3-0 Gillingham - 51 min: Vincent Janssen bags his first goal in a Spurs shirt as the Lillywhites pull ahead.
GOAL! Northampton 1-2 Manchester United - 68 min: Ander Herrera settles the visitors' nerves as he puts Jose Mourinho's side back in front.
GOAL! QPR 1-1 Sunderland - 70 min: Paddy McNair offers Sunderland hope as he equalises with 20 minutes to go.
GOAL! Northampton 1-3 Manchester United - 75 min: It's Marcus Rashford once again! He chases down a long pass back to the Northampton keeper who scuffs his clearance under pressure from the 18-year-old. From there, Rashford simply strokes the ball into an open goal to extend United's lead.
