A vine has emerged online of Skrtel going just a little crazy as Joe Allen’s penalty sends Liverpool into the final. The Slovakian defender jumps around, hugs friends and even hammers at the wall in delight.
Liverpool needed penalties to see off Mark Hughes’s dogged side after Marko Arnautovic’s strike levelled the semi-final on aggregate. Allen netted the decisive spot-kick for Jurgen Klopp’s side.
Centre-back Skrtel has a hamstring injury and is expected to return in early February.
