Manchester City starlet Ian Poveda makes his senior debut for the club in tonight’s Carabao Cup semi-final second-leg against Burton.

The 18-year-old English winger is highly regarded within City's academy, having joined their ranks from Brentford in 2016.

Garcia was also previously a part of both Barcelona's La Masia academy as well as a spell at Puerto Malagueno in Spain.

Poveda has starred in the U21s Checkatrade Trophy run this season, scoring twice in five games, and missed last night's defeat to Sunderland so he could play in this fixture.

The skilful winger can play on either flank, or through the middle at number ten, and has represented England at U16 and U17 levels.

He has made 23 appearances in City's development squad so far this season, scoring five goals, and frequently trains with the first team after being included by Pep Guardiola for the club's pre-season tour of the US.
