League One Bradford City produced another giant-killing to reach the quarter-finals of the FA Cup with a 2-0 win against Premier League side Sunderland at Valley Parade on Sunday.

Roared on by a fervent home crowd, third tier Bradford, who stunned Premier League leaders Chelsea 4-2 in the previous round, opened the scoring in the third minute through a John O'Shea own goal.

Tenacious and relentless throughout, the second goal came just past the hour mark when their harrying forced England international Adam Johnson into a mistake and Jon Stead was on hand to slide home a composed finish.
