From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. Andreas Christensen will play just his second game for Chelsea after Jose Mourinho made nine changes to the team that drew with Liverpool earlier this week.

Christensen's only first-team game came in the 2-1 win at Shrewsbury Town in the Capital One Cup back in October. The 18-year-old Dane will start at right-back.

Elsewhere, Petr Cech returns in goal, while Gary Cahill and John Obi Mikel are the only players who retain their place from the match at Anfield.

Kurt Zouma replaces John Terry, leaving Didier Drogba to captain the side. Loic Remy will likely play from the right wing with Andre Schurrle left out of the squad completely - perhaps a hint that the German could leave the club.

Teenagers Nathan Ake and Ruben Loftus-Cheek are on the bench, as are Cesc Fabregas, Willian and Eden Hazard, should things go wrong.

LINE-UPS:

Chelsea: Cech, Christensen, Zouma, Cahill, Azpilicueta, Ramires, Mikel, Remy, Oscar, Salah, Drogba.

Subs: Courtois, Terry, Ake, Fabregas, Loftus-Cheek, Willian, Hazard.

Bradford City: Williams, Darby, McArdle, Davies, Meredith, Liddle, Morais, Halliday, Knott, Hanson, Stead.

Subs: Urwin, Sheehan, Clarke, Zoko, Yeates, Kennedy, Routis.
