Liverpool will be expecting to secure themselves a place in the fifth round of the FA Cup with a win over Bolton Wanderers at the Macron Stadium tonight.

Daniel Sturridge’s return had an immediate impact for the Red’s in their 2-0 win over West Ham at the weekend and with the target man back at their disposal, they will be hoping to push on in all competitions, despite the fixture congestion.

Bolton came away from Anfield unscathed after holding Brendan Rodgers’ side to a goalless draw in the first leg and come into this game on the back of a 2-2 draw with Wolves, where teenage striker Zach Clough netted twice.

Trotters’ Boss Neil Lennon made a number of recent acquisitions in the January transfer window, including Barry Bannan, Ben Amos and Filip Twardzik, who played under him at Celtic, but he will be hoping Adam Bogdan can emulate his performance from the first leg, should he be given the chance to once again fight for his position.

Former Red Emile Heskey looks set to miss his opportunity to star against Liverpool however, as he continues to nurse a hamstring injury.

Liverpool come into the game having suffered defeat just twice in their last 17 games in all competitions and have a relatively clean bill of health despite injuries to Brad Jones and Jon Flanagan. Steven Gerrard could make a return despite a Hamstring problem.
