Your support makes all the difference.Nacho Monreal might have scored the first goal at Old Trafford in the FA Cup quarter-final between Manchester United and Arsenal, but it was Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain taking the plaudits.
The England international, given the nod to start the game by Arsene Wenger, repaid his manager after just 25 minutes with a brilliant run to set up a simple chance for Monreal to open the scoring.
Oxlade-Chamberlain, regularly referred to as simply The Ox, took the ball past three players before releasing the ball to the unmarked Monreal.
The 19-year-old picked up the ball on the edge of the Manchester United box before skipping through challenges from Luke Shaw and Daley Blind. Alert to the danger, Antonio Valencia moved in for the tackle but The Ox did brilliantly to navigate his way round him before having the vision to spot Monreal and lay off a perfectly weighted pass.
