Nottingham Forest 0 - 0 Arsenal
51 mins: Arsenal haven’t been penetrating at all tonight. Their attacks have come from the wide areas - mainly through Martinelli - and then the final ball lets them down. There’s no intensity or urgency to the Gunners who seem happy to just knock the ball around the midfield.
Nottingham Forest 0 - 0 Arsenal
48 mins: It’s been a bright start to the second half from Nottingham Forest. Djed Spence has been a force of nature on the right wing for the home side and Arsenal have been unable to handle him. The ball comes inside to James Garner who elects not to shoot and instead sends it back out to the wing. A cross comes into the box but Rob Holding heads it away.
Second half: Nottingham Forest 0 - 0 Arsenal
Kick off: A reminder that there has to be a result today so if this game ends in a draw then we’ll be going to extra-time and maybe even penalties.
Arsenal restart the match with a pass back to Bernd Leno. He sends it long and picks out Saka but his first touch is poor and Scott Mckenna clears the Nottingham Forest lines.

45+1 mins: A rather sedate 45 minutes of football comes to an end. Arsenal haven’t been great but Nottingham Forest have had moments of joy on the counter-attack.

Nottingham Forest 0 - 0 Arsenal
41 mins: Arsenal aren’t playing at the peak of the powers. Not by a long way, there seems to be a slackness to their play resulting in wayward passes and not many players getting into the box. Most of their crosses from the wide areas have gone sailing over the heads of everyone in the box. Mikel Arteta can’t be pleased with what he’s seeing.
