Your support makes all the difference.Diego Forlan lives on the other side of the world now, playing for Japanese team Cerezo Osaka, and it appears he has not been watching a lot of Premier League football this season.
The Uruguayan has urged his compatriot, Luis Suarez, to leave Liverpool and join his old side Manchester United, as it would be the "best thing for his career". This is, despite, the Reds' being just five victories away from winning the Premier League and 17 points ahead of seventh-placed United, who seem destined to miss out on Champions League football next season for the first time in 18 years.
"We spoke a few days ago," the 34-year-old told Brazilian paper Lance!. "He asked me if I think he should stay at Liverpool.
"All I told him was to think about going to Manchester United. I know he loves Liverpool, the fans and the city, but I think the best thing for his career would be to move to Old Trafford."
Forlan's time at Old Trafford was far from a success, scoring only 17 goals in 98 appearances between 2001 and 2004 before joining Villarreal.
He is currently playing for the Japanese side on an 18-month contract.
