Barcaelona's Ivory Coast midfielder Yaya Toure has again insisted that he is happy at the Camp Nou, amid talk of interest from several English clubs.

He told Sky Sports: “My future in Barcelona is bright. It is good to be linked with prestigious clubs, but I am fine here in Barcelona for the moment.

“I am not moving unless Barcelona accept an offer and I know I will not play week in week out.”

Meanwhile Barca defender Carles Puyol has admitted that he may consider returning from international football with Spain following next summer’s World Cup finals in South Africa.

The 31-year-old centre-back made his debut for Spain nine years ago and has since won more than 80 caps, but Puyol believes that time is beginning to catch up with him.

He told Radio Marca: “Is South Africa going to be my last big competition with Spain? It is possible because I am getting older and there are quality replacements ready to fill in.

“My plan is to play at the World Cup and after that hold talks with the coach and (sporting director) Fernando Hierro in order to make a choice.”
