Tottenham ran out easy 4-0 winners at home to Ludogorets in the Europa League.

The north London side were dominant throughout and could easily have scored half a dozen or more in truth, against opponents who were suffering absences and who they had already beaten heavily away from home.

Carlos Vinicius scored twice in the first half, his first goals for the club, while Harry Winks pinged in the goal of the night from over 50 yards out by the touchline, lobbing the 'keeper with a top-corner effort which bounced in off the crossbar.

Jose Mourinho made a host of second-half subs including bringing on three or four young talents and the night was rounded off by Lucas Moura’s finish.

Here are the player ratings from Tottenham Stadium on Thursday night.

Joe Hart - 6. It counts as an appearance but he didn’t do anything different tonight that he usually does from the bench: watch on from afar.

Matt Doherty - 7. A typically assured and forward-thinking performance, getting into dangerous situations regularly.

Davinson Sanchez - 6. Dealt well enough with the infrequent attacks from the visitors.

Japhet Tanganga - 7. Great timing for Spurs that he returns just as Alderweireld is out injured. A good showing tonight.

Ben Davies - 7. Rattled the post with a fierce drive. Solid at the back, always on the front foot.

Harry Winks - 7. Two years without a goal, then clips one in from 56 yards out as if he does it every week.

Tanguy Ndombele - 8. Had an excellent first half and ran the show for Spurs. Driving runs forward, incisive passing and a fine strike which led to the second goal.

Dele Alli - 8. Selfless and energetic, a diligent display with a clever assist - the type of understated but effective performance his manager will appreciate.

Lucas Moura - 7. A good outlet at times and finished a nice move for the fourth.

Gareth Bale - 7. A few bright moments and neat passes in attack, but should have scored at least once.

Carlos Vinicius - 8. Two well-taken goals to get his Spurs career off and running. Hard-working and good link play all night.

Subs

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg - 6. An easy half-hour.

Jack Clarke - 7. A few nice raids down the right wing.

Alfie Whiteman - n/a. A debut for the goalkeeper for the final 10 minutes.

Harvey White - n/a. Smashed a left-footed effort just wide late on.

Dane Scarlett - n/a. A lively cameo for the 16-year-old.
