Real Madrid host Inter Milan in the glamour match of this week’s Champions League offering.

Real Madrid are bottom with just one point, while Borussia Monchengladbach edge out the Italians for second with Shakhtar Donetsk the surprise early leaders.

Zinedine Zidane continues to refer to each game as a “final” and while that is an exaggeration in most cases, this one isn’t far off given the slow start.

Prediction

Real Madrid are in desperate need of a win here, failure to do so will put them in real jeopardy of failing to quality with the return fixture of these sides back in Italy.

The absent of Lukaku is a big blow for the Nerazzurri, but they will still possess danger to counter the Spaniards, with Conte likely to relish the tactical battle against Zidane.

Due to the urgency, we’re leaning towards Madrid squeezing out a close win.
