Your support helps us to tell the story
From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.
Your support makes all the difference.Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been reappointed as Molde's manager on the eve of the club's Europa League clash against Celtic.
The former Manchester United and Norway striker previously led the team with distinction between 2011 and 2014, when he left for an ill-fated stint in charge of Cardiff.
Having overseen the Bluebirds' relegation from the Premier League he was sacked last September after just eight months at the helm.
The 42-year-old is now back with a side who he steered to successive league titles and a cup success, and will be in the dugout when the Hoops visit the Aker Stadion on Thursday night.
A statement on the Molde website read: "Molde FK has signed a three-and-a-half-year contract with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as new manager of the club.
"Ole Gunnar enters with immediate effect and will lead the team against Celtic."
Solskjaer replaces interim boss Erling Moe, who has looked after the first team since August.
