From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.
Your support makes all the difference.Manchester United welcome Young Boys to Old Trafford on Tuesday night in Group H’s penultimate round of fixtures and Jose Mourinho’s side have their Champions League fate in their own hands.
The victory over Juventus in Turin last time out leaves United second in the group with seven points, two behind the Serie A side.
Valencia are in third with five points. Young Boys cannot qualify but may still earn a Europa League place. United’s final group stage match will be away to Valencia on 12 December.
Mourinho’s side must beat Young Boys and hope Juventus defeat Valencia in order to qualify for the knock-out stages on Tuesday night, otherwise their fate will be decided at the Mestalla next month.
