Transfer season is here and while Liverpool and Tottenham are preparing for the Champions League final, others are already frantically attempting to put their plans in place to strengthen this summer.

Manchester United arguably have the most to do, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer tasked with reviving the sixth-placed side.

Contact has been made with Fulham over Ryan Sessegnon, report Sky Sports.

The 19-year-old could provide competition for Luke Shaw, as well as bring another option in the final third out wide.

The Telegraph claim United have not given up on Matthijs De Ligt either, with the Ajax star open to moving to Old Trafford despite no Champions League football next season, though Barcelona are confident they will win out to see the centre-back follow Frenkie De Jong to the Nou Camp.

There will also be some departures too, wit David De Gea’s future still not clear. And should the Spaniard leave then United will move for Barcelona’s back-up goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen, according to the Record.

Elsewhere Arsenal have moved a step closer to signing Argentine defender Walter Kannemann, with reports in Italy suggesting a £10.5m deal could be nearing completion for the Gremio centre-back.

The Gunners will want to hold on to Tyreece John-Jules and Xavier Amaechi though, with new deals being prepared amid interest from Bayern Munich, according to Goal.

Chelsea are contending with numerous injuries ahead of the Europa League final, yet they will be hoping to clarify their immediate future in the transfer market. Currently under a ban, the Blues could yet appeal and lift the ban to enable them to sign more players.

David Neres is another potential exit at Ajax and the Blues are especially keen. And PA believe Maurizio Sarri could welcome the Brazilian to help plug the gap left by Eden Hazard should he join Real Madrid.
