Manchester United take on CSKA Moscow in Russia on Wednesday eager to keep their Champions League campaign on track.

An opening defeat to PSV Eindhoven has given little room for error, however a victory over Wolfsburg in their last outing puts them on an equal footing with the rest of the group, with all four teams on three points.

Louis van Gaal takes his team into the match in Moscow off the back of an impressive 3-0 win over Everton at the weekend. However, he does so without a few key first-team players.

Most notable will be the absence of Ashley Young, who missed the game at Goodison Park on Saturday. The England international has a calf injury and the winger did not take part in United's final training session ahead of the squad flying to Russia on Tuesday. With the form of Memphis Depay a concern, Van Gaal will rue being without the obvious alternative for his £25m summer signing.

Here, we take a look at Young and the others who could miss Manchester United's game against CSKA Moscow...

CSKA vs Manchester United is at 7.45pm on Wednesday.
