Following the postponement of Tuesday's fixture due to adverse weather conditions in Manchester, the two sides will meet in amid a strange atmosphere at the Etihad Stadium.
Only around 30 per cent of the travelling Gladbach contingent are expected to be in attendance, with many having flown home following the abandonment.
Pep Guardiola's side, who impressed last time out in their Manchester derby victory at Old Trafford, will hope to put such problems behind them and maintain their perfect start to the season.
