Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has stuck with the same XI that beat neighbours Manchester United at the Etihad on Sunday.

The only change in the 18-man squad sees centre-back Eliaquim Mangala replace Scott Sinclair among the substitutes.

That means that Frank Lampard, who was said to have a chance to return to action, has not been deemed fit enough just yet.

Pellegrini will likely playu a 4-4-2/4-2-3-1 hybrid with Fernando as the holding midfielder, Yaya Toure in a more box-to-box role and Stevan Jovetic providing the link-up with Sergio Aguero.

James Milner will start on the left and Jesus Navas on the right.
