Manchester City begin their quest for a first Champions League trophy with a daunting trip to Bayern Munich on 16 September in Group E.

City, however, will remember back to last season, when they defeated Bayern Munich 3-2 at the Allianz Area, fighting back from 2-0 down to win in the group stage match.

Manuel Pellegrini's side finish their group campaign away at Ashley Cole's AS Roma.
