Lionel Messi enjoyed a game of football with a British youngster on a beach in Antigua.

The Argentine is on vacation after the Copa America, where his country finished third following their semi-final exit to eventual winners Brazil.

And while reacharging his batteries, Messi took part in a kickabout with his six-year-old son Thiago.

The young Brit was invited to join in by Messi’s father Jorge for an unforgettable experience.

Messi was generous with his time, with the kickabout reportedly lasting 45 minutes.

The Barcelona superstar is staying at Jumba Bay, which costs £5,000 per night.

The Blaugrana meanwhile are beginning their pre-season without their talisman against Chelsea in Saitama, Japan.

Messi will link up with Antoine Griezmann next term after his £107m arrival from Atletico Madrid.
