Bayern Munich continue the defence of their crown when they take on Lazio in the first leg of their Champions League round of 16 tie tonight.

Hansi Flick’s defending champions were imperious in the group stage, taking 16 out of a possible 18 points. However, their form has suffered slightly in the Bundesliga , with their lead at the top of the table reduced to just two points. They are also without a number of senior players for the trip, with Thomas Tuchel, Benjamin Pavard and Serge Gnabry all unable to travel.

Bayern do, of course, remain firm favourites, though, with Robert Lewandowski in spectacular form, scoring 31 goals in 30 appearances already this season.

But Lazio should still provide a stern test, having won seven of their last eight Serie A matches, which has seen the club rise back into the top four despite a poor start to the season.

Here is everything you need to know:

When is it and what time is kick-off?

The match will begin at 8pm UK time at the Stadio Olimpico on Tuesday 23 February.

How can I watch it online and on TV?

The match will be broadcast live on BT Sport and the BT Sport App.
