At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. Mourinho claimed Juve had benefited from several refereeing mistakes of their own this season, following comments made by the Turin club's coach, Claudio Ranieri.
Ranieri, whose side are chasing Inter for the Serie A title, had claimed that he had sympathy with counterpart Luciano Spalletti after his AS Roma team conceded a controversial penalty to draw 3-3 with Inter on Sunday.
"Having carefully read the serious statements made by the Inter coach, Juventus express shock and disdain and ask Inter to publicly disassociate themselves from such opinions," read a Juve statement.
"With his comments, the Inter coach has shown a lack of respect not only to Juventus and their 14 million fans, but to the whole of Italian football.
"Rather than feeding a dangerous culture of suspicion, the clubs representatives have a duty to show educations and a sense of responsibility - before, during and after games - to sustain the development of Italian football and its international image."
Mourinho had said after the weekend draw with Roma: "No-one has spoken about Roma who have great players, but they will win nothing at the end of the season.
"No-one has spoken about Milan who are 11 points behind us and they will win nothing at the end of the season, the same with Juventus who have won many points as a result of refereeing errors."
Meanwhile, AC Milan defender Kakha Kaladze's season is over after he was forced to have surgery on his injured right knee.
The Georgia international had the operation in Antwerp and will be sidelined for five months.
A statement on the Rossoneri's official website read: "AC Milan would like to communicate that Kakha Kaladze underwent surgery to his right knee this (Tuesday) morning.
"The operation was perfect and the recovery time is an estimated five months."
Kaladze suffered the injury during last week's Uefa Cup clash with Werder Bremen.
