Bayern Munich defender Jerome Boateng has hit back at the 'haters' who pronounced him dead following his embarrassing failure to stop Lionel Messi in the Champions League.

The former Manchester City man was left in a spin by the Barcelona maestro, who turned him inside and out before dinking over Manuel Neuer to make it 2-0 to the Catalan club - Barcelona went on to win 3-0.
