Premier League managers tend to fret this time of year with the annual Christmas party tending to bring out the best and worst in squad’s, but it appears to be a whole different matter in Spain.

Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and the rest of the Real Madrid squad sat down for a sophisticated Christmas meal on Monday to celebrate the festive period, with no signs of any drunken antics as the players posed for photographs together.

Neither were there any fancy dress costumes, or swarms of wannabe WAGS looking to crash the sit-down meal, with style certainly the order of the day as the latest crop of ‘Galactico’s’ celebrated together.

They were joined by Real Madrid’s basketball side, which included star players Marcus Slaughter and Dontaye Draper, and they posed for pictures with the footballers as well as coach and former midfielder Zinedine Zidane.

Zidane was pictured alongside Salah Mejri and Ioannis Bourousis, who towered over the Frenchman, with the basketball side celebrating their run to the Euroleague final where they lost out to Olympiakos.

Should any bad behaviour break out, manager Carlo Ancelotti and club president Florentino Perez were in attendance to run the rule over the squad, sitting at the main table to keep an eye over their superstars as they tucked into their Christmas dinner.
