The Gunners were seeded for the draw meaning they avoided the four best teams dropping down to the Europa League from the Champions League after finishing the top of Group H with 13 points from their six games.
Arsene Wenger has been using his second string side and opted to blood his youngsters rather than play his first team stars and is expected to continue to do that against the Swedes in the Round of 32.
Ostersund, who are managed by Englishman Graham Potter, were unseeded for the draw after finishing second in Group J behind Athletic Bilbao on the head-to-head rule, despite having a better goal difference.
Ostersund are a relatively young club and were actually formed a month after Wenger took over at Arsenal, back in 1996.
The first leg will be played in Ostersund on 15 February, when the temperature can drop to -15 degrees, before the second leg the following week.
