The Portuguese superstar moved to Turin last summer from Real Madrid and has worked alongside the Italian this year, combining to win the scudetto.
But after five years with Juventus, Allegri is departing this summer, leaving Ronaldo to describe him as a “great man”.
He wrote: “Thank you mister! We only lived a year together but it has been exceptional because other than being a great manager, you are a great man.
“It has been a pleasure to work with you.”
Ronaldo was named took home the Most Valuable Player award in his debut season in Italy, scoring 22 goals and assisting 11 in his 33 appearances.
The awards are decided using statistics from Opta Sports and Netco Sports, put together by Ernst and Young.
