Paris Saint-German return to the scene of their crushing exit in last season’s quarter-finals when they face Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night.

Having contained their opponents in Paris and grabbed that all-important away goal, Chelsea, so far unbeaten in the competition, are unlikely to employ the most ambitious attacking tactics in their quest for a quarter-final spot.

While Chelsea arrive on the back of their Capital One Cup triumph and a league victory over West Ham, Paris Saint-Germain defeated Arsenal’s European conquerors Monaco in the French Cup and an impressive 4-1 win over struggling Lens.

KICK-OFF: Wednesday, 7.45pm

Paris Saint-Germain 1 (Cavani) Chelsea 1 (Ivanovich), Champions League, February 2015
