Chelsea fans are planning to hand out a number of anti-racism banners and posters to be displayed during the Champions League match against Paris Saint-Germain at Stamford Bridge tonight, reveal the Evening Standard.

The first leg of their last-16 tie in the French capital was overshadowed by an ugly incident involving some of the club's supporters on the Metro afterwards.

A local black Parisian called Souleymane S was prevented from boarding a train and a chant followed from inside the carriage saying: 'We're racist and that's the way we like it'.

Chelsea have suspended five of those involved, in view of a permanent ban. They also issued a public apology to Souleymane and invited him to the second leg this evening, which he rejected.

But a group of supporters still hope to send out their own public show of defiance against racism.

Posters written in English and French will he handed out before kick-off, which says 'no racism at the Bridge, that's the way we like it'.
