THOMAS MULLER: The German star was dropped by Pep Guardiola last week as the Bayern coach looked to play a more counter-attacking formation, but the absence of Muller was a mistake. The 26-year-old is one of those players who has that most underrated of attributes: football intelligence. He isn't the fastest, strongest or best on the ball but Muller has supreme confidence and almost always picks the right option. With 32 goals and 10 assists this season he simply has to start for a side that must win.
