Your support makes all the difference.German giants Bayern Munich have laughed off claims that they have approached Juventus with an offer for Andrea Pirlo.
The Italian midfielder was one of the best players at Euro 2012, as his underestimated side reached the final against Spain.
Although his ability was believed to be in decline, having reached the pinnacle of his career at AC Milan a few years ago, a standout season with Juventus last term combined with his eye-catching performances in Poland and Ukraine demonstrated that he is still at the top of his game.
According to reports in Italy, thanks to his good form, the midfield maestro has now been subject to a €10m bid from Bayern.
However, the Munich side claim that the rumours are untrue and that they have made no contact with Juventus.
"FC Bayern have neither made an offer to Juventus, nor have FC Bayern had any contact with the player or his agent," club chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge said in a statement published on Bayern's official website.
Bayern have already made six new additions to their squad and it now seems unlikely that they will be adding Pirlo, who topped the pass completion charts across Europe last season.
