From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. It’s a big game for…

Arsenal and Dinamo Zagreb: It’s a must win game for both sides if they are to have any chance of qualifying from this year’s group stage. Although if Olympiakos get a point or better, both Arsenal and Zagreb will be out.

Best stat…

3: There has been at least three goals in six of Zagreb’s last seven games in the Champions League. Expect more of the same when they travel to the Emirates.

Remember when…

The sides met in Zagreb in September, It wasn’t a game to remember for the Arsenal fans.

Player to watch…

Alexis Sánchez: In a must win game for Arsenal, they’ll be hoping their star players will be on fine form. Especially Sánchez who hasn’t stood out in a while. The Chilean has only recorded one assist in his last six games. A stat that he’ll be looking to improve against Zagreb.
