Your support makes all the difference.Andrea Pirlo has signed a new two-year deal to stay at Italian giants Juventus, the club have announced.
The evergreen Italy midfielder, 35, has penned a deal that keeps him in black and white until June 2016.
Pirlo was again a key component of Antonio Conte’s Scudetto winning team, making 30 appearances and scoring four goals in Serie A as Juve ran away with the title.
Since joining as a free agent from AC Milan in 2011, Pirlo has helped Juventus win Serie A in each of his three seasons.
“Andrea Pirlo's fantastic story with the Bianconeri continues,” read a statement on the Juventus website.
"The ‘Professor’ has signed a contract extension that will keep him at Juventus until June 30, 2016."
Despite his advancing years Pirlo is arguably Italy’s best player but has had to have crisis meetings with the squad pastor Don Massimiliano Gabricci after the break-up of his marriage to Deborah Roversi.
The divorce to Roversi, after he was caught getting close to another woman, will reportedly cost Pirlo €55,000 a month.
Italy face England in Manaus on Saturday.
