Eberechi Eze’s fine late winner earned Crystal Palace a 2-1 comeback victory over Leeds United in the Premier League on Sunday.
The visitors raced into an early lead through Pascal Struijk, reacting first after Brenden Aaronson’s stunning run and shot had come out off the post.
Leeds striker Patrick Bamford, starting his first match since August, missed a glorious opportunity to double the visitors’ lead, wastefulness that proved costly when Palace levelled through Odsonne Edouard’s header in the 24th minute.
Palace were much the better side in the second half but struggled to break down a resolute Leeds, until Eze picked the ball on the edge of the penalty area, threw a dummy and rifled an 76th-minute winner into the net.
The away side kept coming but could not make their pressure pay, and Palace moved out of the relegation zone and up to 15th in the table, level on nine points with Leeds one place above them.

Palace can't work it down their left, so they switch to the other side. Olise and Ayew don't have much more luck though, and Palace are forced to start again.

It's Aaronson that loses the ball this time, and Eze surges forward, with support on either side of him. He sweeps it out to Olise on the right, but his cross with the outside of his boot is straight at Meslier.

There's a bit of sloppiness creeping into the game as both teams try to force their way forward. Andersen's throughball is cut out by Adams, but he can't pick out Aaronson to set Leeds on the counter.

Aaronson eventually swings the free-kick in for Leeds and it's flicked away ahead of Cooper in the middle. It almost falls for Kristensen on the far side of the box, but he wasn't expecting it and Schlupp is able to clear his lines.

Leeds are looking to quickly restore their lead, with Struijk driving forward down the left. He knocks it past Ward before trying to fizz a low cross into Rodrigo, but he can only pick out Guehi.
