Your support makes all the difference.Belgium have revealed their squad for Euro 2020 with Real Madrid’s Eden Hazard named among a strong 26-man squad for the world’s No1 ranked team.
Manager Roberto Martinez sprung no major surprises, with Real Sociedad’s Adnan Januzaj and Liverpool’s Divock Origi the most notable names to miss the cut. The 18-year-old Rennes striker Jeremy Doku earns a spot ahead of Origi, while Brighton’s Leandro Trossard beat Januzaj to a place after impressing in the Premier League under Graham Potter.
The squad is full of star names with Kevin De Bruyne, Romelu Lukaku and Hazard among them, while former Tottenham and Arsenal centre-backs Jan Vertonghen and Thomas Vermaelen are also included.
Martinez has also selected 11 reserve players who can step up in case of injuries ahead of the tournament, which begins on 11 June.
Belgium are the top seeds in Group B and face Russia in their opening game on 12 June. They will then come up against Denmark and Finland.
