An Australian punter lost a total of pounds 67,500 when Romania and Colombia both suffered Group A defeats on Wednesday. The Melbourne businessman, who has not been named, staked pounds 40,000 on Romania to beat Switzerland at odds of 6-5 and laid out a further pounds 27,500 on Colombia to beat the United States at odds of 6-4, according to the bookmakers, William Hill.
