Signed on a season-long loan in October, from Serro Portino of Paraguay, the 21-year-old Argentinian striker was described as a possible pounds 2m addition to Arsene Wenger's squad but has been limited to three senior appearances, the last of them somewhat controversial, when he was accused of elbowing Preston's Ryan Kidd during an FA Cup tie at Deepdale in January.

Unsettled at Manchester United he may be, but Teddy can be relied upon to serve an ace when Alex Ferguson needs him. He's not bad on the tennis court, either, according to witnesses, who apparently spotted him winning the Australian Open.
