Your support makes all the difference.Blackburn defender Colin Hendry has denied claims that he tried to get Coventry's Dion Dublin sent off on Sunday.
The Scottish international left Ewood Park after the 0-0 draw bitter that he had been subjected to abuse from Coventry players. Coventry are to ask the Football Association to review Dublin's dismissal, allegedly for elbowing Hendry.
"Of course I didn't try to get Dion sent off," he said. In fact, I was on my feet pretty quickly after the incident and I was trying to tell the referee the incident wasn't as bad as he thought."
The Bolton manager, Colin Todd, has denied reports linking Alan Thompson with a move to Tottenham. "Like other managers I admire other players, but I don't go round putting stories in the papers about other people's players," he said.
The Spurs manager, Gerry Francis, has denied any interest in Thompson. Todd also said that Peter Beardsley would be staying and ruled out any move to Fulham.
