Your support makes all the difference.Welshman Gerwyn Price reached the third round at the PDC World Darts Championship with a narrow 3-2 win against compatriot Jamie Lewis on Monday.
Price failed to find his rhythm in the first set but showed signs of improvement in the second, before throwing a 160 check-out to secure the third.
Lewis tied things up at 2-2 after battling back to win the fourth set, but No.3 seed Price, 35, ultimately took the deciding frame to book his spot in the next round.
“I just couldn’t get going, it was flat,” Price said after the victory.
“I will put this behind me – I can just look forward to my next game.

“I’ll try to perform the best I can and today wasn’t very good, but I will be better next time.
“Sometimes darts goes like that, you can’t hit a barn door with a shotgun, but some other times I can’t miss and that’s the way it goes.
“I’m lucky to come through that game. I had a bit of luck and sometimes that’s what you need to win not just games, but to win tournaments.”
Next up for Price is the winner of Tuesday’s contest between Brendan Dolan and Japanese qualifier Edward Foulkes, who also has Welsh ties.
