Virender Sehwag hit a century off just 92 balls as Leicestershire fought back against Middlesex at Southgate. However, a late slump saw 197 without loss become 221 for 3 at the close, still 399 adrift of the hosts' huge 620 for 7 declared. Ed Joyce made 102 and David Nash 103, while Paul Weekes chipped in with 75.
