England bowler Jimmy Anderson has become a father for the second time today.

Wife Daniella has given birth to a girl, weighing 7lb 9oz. The couple have yet to announce a name.

After helping England win the second Ashes Test, the 28-year-old made the 10,000 mile journey to England from Australia for the birth and arrived on Wednesday.

Anderson is expected to return to the team in time to play in the third Test in Perth which starts on Thursday, December 16.
