Broad is unable to bowl in Australia's second innings in the third Test, but will bat if necessary in Perth to try to help England keep the Ashes alive.
He had x-rays and then scans in hospital on Sunday, after being hit on the right boot by Mitchell Johnson while batting, but said at a subsequent press conference he is still hoping to play a part in the remainder of a series England already trail 2-0.
An ECB statement, via its official Twitter account, read: "Scans revealed no evidence of a fracture.
"He will continue to receive treatment on his right foot and will be reviewed on a regular basis ahead of the fourth Test.
"He will bat in this current Test if required."
