Two players from Sri Lanka's World Cup winning team, Sanath Jayasuirya and Aravinda De Silva, will play for a Rest of the World XI against Warwickshire in a benefit match for Dermot Reeve at Edgbaston today. Reeve, who captained Warwickshire to successive County Championships in the last two seasons, has been forced to retire because of an arthritic hip. The Rest of the World team, which will be captained by the former West Indies skipper Richie Richardson, includes former Warwickshire players Roger Twose and Brian McMillan.
Warwickshire are to send a team to the Netherlands to play a Dutch President's XI at Deventer on Tuesday.
