Both teams had already qualified for the final. Pakistan cantered to 183 for 2 with 64 balls to spare after West Indies earlier collapsed to 181 all out, losing eight wickets for 25 runs in their last 10 overs.

India yesterday made four changes in their squad for the triangular limited-overs series against South Africa and Zimbabwe later this month and altered travel plans to give their players a rest before a tour of the West Indies. The opener Woorkeri Raman, the middle-order batsman Pankaj Dharmani, the left-arm spinner Venkatapathy Raju and the medium-pacer David Johnson have been omitted from the one-day squad.
